Maycee continued her losing trend losing via a unanimity at UFC 258 against Alexa Grasso. Barber was able to defeat Miranda Maverick in UFC on ESPN Sandhagen against. Dillashaw by split decision. Barber beat Montana De La Rosa at UFC Fight Night 205 in April 2022 with a unanimous vote. Barber went on to replace Casey O'Neill and fight Jessica Eye at UFC 276 in July 2022. Her victory was unanimous. The fight was also the final fight under her current contract with UFC however she signed a new contract with the company later in the year. Barber's most recent bout was against Andrea Lee at UFC Fight Night Vera vs. Sandhagen on March 25th, 2023. She won via split decision.
